From my favorite part of the Torah, the imagery around Jacob, here he is told to go to Beth-El (Jerusalem). You can see him in the distance, near the Bamot (high places) usually a site of foreign worship like a Ziggurat. Beth-El is in the distance. G-d Spoke to create the world--there are still traces of that Speaking.
